Born in 1965 he started his professional business life at very early ages along with his education. He entered into international business with Gil Trans (lately renamed to Karvan Bar) International Transport & Freight Forwarding. He, soon became the exclusive representative of almost 95% of the Turkish truckers who used to cooperate and carry different goods from Turkey and Eastern European origins to Iran within 1980's. Quite along with logistics and freight forwarding, he got familiar with Banking, Insurance, Warehousing, Customs Clearance, Commercial Arbitration, Hazmat Carriage Regulation, etc.
In 1983 he established the core structure of ITF together with his good friends, Alfred Krüger and Cpt. Thomas Wallace. Other fields of ITF's activities include International Investments Consulting, Sourcing, Organization and Management of International Commercial Events, e.g. Seminars, Conferences, Congresses, Forums, Summits, Product Launches, Festivals and esp. B2B Matchmakings, International Trade Exhibitions Organization and Management, International Patients' Services & Medical Tourism, Import & Export and International Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
Farhang is a Medical Entomologist. He communicates in English, German, French, Turkish, Esperanto, Japanese and Korean alongside Persian, which is his mother tongue.
